Why Autumn in Esperance is amazing

Whilst most people head to Esperance in Summer to enjoy the beaches and aquatic activities, we reckon Autumn is the most underrated season of the year.

Autumn in Esperance is, simply put, stunning. The majority of days are calm, you'll experience less of the winds you may come across in Summer, so it's a perfect time to hit the beach.

The wind drops off and the water is glass-like, the perfect conditions for boating, SUPing and swimming. The water feels warmer in Autumn, we're sure of it!

Obviously, you will have days where the weather is cooler in Autumn, but that makes for perfect walking and hiking conditions so you can get out and explore one of the many trails within our 5 National Parks.

In Autumn the National Parks and surrounding bush are much greener and lusher than in Summer too, so they look gorgeous when you're out exploring.

Peak season is Summer, so if you visit from March onwards you'll find the crowds have dissipated after the Summer school holidays and you'll find it much easier to get accommodation and have more choice.

There are heaps of things to do in Esperance that are actually better in the slightly cooler weather - hop on a boat and cruise out to the Archipeligo or spend the night on Woody Island, check out the monthly markets or wander around Stone Henge.

Finally, you'll notice the temperature drop as the sun sets making way for some cosy, colder nights. The perfect excuse to get the wood burner going, open a bottle of wine and get snuggled up for the evening.

So what are you waiting for? Get planning your Autumn escape to Esperance today!
